ASIMCO Shuanghuan Piston Ring (Yizheng) Co., Ltd .is a state high-tech enterprise, which has more than 40 years history of piston ring R&D and manufacturing. It is the largest diesel engine piston ring manufacturer in China. based on overall innovation, the products are widely applied for heavy, medium and light-duty trucks, engineering machinery, saloon cars, minitype cars, motor cycles and general-purpose gasoline engine and etc. The diameter of piston rings covers 10mm-600mm. The annual production capacity is 180 million pieces and has more than 4800 models & specifications, which domestic market share is 25%.
The company has introduced the material technology from Germany and Japan. Its diesel engine piston ring production lines and NPR "S" type expander/segment oil control ring production lines keep pace with the advanced counterparts from Europe, America and Japan. The company has a series of technologies and production lines, which has independent intellectual property rights, such as chromium ceramic composite coating, side flash coating, gas nitriding and PVD. For new piston rings R&D, we had established engine test lab, friction & wear test lab and inspection center consisted of more than 20 kinds and nearly 200 sets of equipment for material inspection, performance test and surface treatment inspection, such as Infrared Carbon Sulphur Analyzer, ion-chromatographic analyzer, Taylor profiler and etc., which provide great support for getting the parameters of piston ring material, performance and technology, improving product stability and shortening R & D cycle.
For developing the Integration of Industry, Education and Research, the company had established Provincial Technical Center of Jiangsu, and united Jiangsu University,Southeast University and Chinese Academy of Sciences to establish piston ring R&D center, Piston ring technology research center and high performance piston ring research center, which successively became Post-doctoral Scientific Research Workstation of Jiangsu province and chromium ceramic composite coating technology research center of Jiangsu province. The company has engaged three resident experts from Europe and Japan to provide technical instruction, R&D core technology and direct the industrialization of new technology.
